Resumen
Se resaltan tres momentos en la construcción del barrio por parte de sus moradores: el asentamiento, la consolidación y la fragmentación. La tabla es asentamiento, el ladrillo es la consolidación, y la fachada coincide con el conflicto y la fragmentación de todas las relaciones sociales que se establecen como momentos de la cimentación del espacio barrial. Se advierte que no es mero lenguaje metafórico ni teleológico lo que se describe, es una parte de la construcción de realidad que desde su cotidianidad hacen los habitantes a través de sus enormes luchas por la larga duración por la vivienda en Cali.

Abstract
This paper highlights three moments in the building of the neighborhood by its inhabitants: settlement, consolidation, and fragmentation. The plank is the settlement, the brick is the consolidation, and the façade coincides with the conflict and fragmentation of all social relationships established as moments that cement the neighborhood space. It is not a mere description using metaphorical or teleological language; it is part of the construction of reality that the inhabitants undertake in their daily lives through their enormous, longstanding struggles for housing in Cali.
